Tommy DeVito: Ya motherfucker! I almost had him, I almost had him. Henry Hill: Get the fuck out of here, Tommy! How the fuck am I funny, what the fuck is so funny about me? Tell me, tell me what’s funny! Tommy DeVito: No, no, I don’t know, you said it. Henry Hill: Just… you know, how you tell the story, what? Tommy DeVito: You mean, let me understand this cause, ya know maybe it’s me, I’m a little fucked up maybe, but I’m funny how, I mean funny like I’m a clown, I amuse you? I make you laugh, I’m here to fuckin’ amuse you? What do you mean funny, funny how? How am I funny? Tommy DeVito: Funny how? What’s funny about it?Īnthony Stabile: Tommy no, You got it all wrong. You’re just funny, it’s… funny, the way you tell the story and everything. Tommy DeVito: What do you mean, you mean the way I talk? What? It’s a good story, it’s funny, you’re a funny guy. Tommy DeVito: What do you mean I’m funny? Henry Hill: You’re a pistol, you’re really funny. You want to hear the funny part? Paden didn’t even like that damn dog. We left him, and he went to jail for a dog. All of a sudden he’s worried about some mutt. I thought we were pals after all that riding we did together. Tyree was ready to plug ’em both – all this with the posse ridin’ down on us…. I thought he was kidding, except he wasn’t. The next thing you know, Paden’s down off his horse, and he’s holdin’ this dog, sayin’ we should go on without him. Well, Tyree was pretty mad when he got up, and, being Tyree, he shot the dog. Somehow this dog got tied up with Tyree’s horse. Well, one day we’re leaving this little Missouri town, in kind of a hurry with a bunch of the locals hot on our tail. One of us took to feeding it, so it followed us everywhere. Somewhere along the way, we picked up this dog. We moved around a lot, the way you have to in that line of work. On business, and business was pretty good.
A long time ago, me, Paden, Tyree, and a couple of other fellas did a lot of riding together. Cobb : Let me tell you about your friend Paden.
